SOC.AGR.MONTE MONACO srl is based into the cradle of the Mediterranean diet on the slopes of the blue mountains on the central Italian Apennines, where monks and monastry lived in harmony with nature. Company activities transform the traditional dishes of pulses into a new, special and typical italian food: pasta. Chickpeas, red lentils, peas and broadbeans are farmed in its own organic agriculural system and ground into flours with stone mills. Innovative technology process, quality attention to the raw materials and pure water is 100% the ingredient of legumes pasta, nothing more than this. The agricultural sustainability of legumes is linked to the industrial sustainabilty of packaging materials. Our boxes are made by certified usage of FSC paper and our three mono-portioned bags in the box are made by compostable material. Monte Monaco: THE GREEN TASTE OF TRADITION.
